Davis Cup

Today what is known as the Davis cup was earlier known as the International Lawn Tennis Challenge. Run by the ITF, which is the International Tennis federation and based on the K.O ( Knock out format), Davis Cup has emerged as the premier International event held solely for Men. The women’s version of the game of the davis cup is known as the Fed Cup (Federation Cup). Any Davis Cup tie is played between countries and comprises of 5 matches between 2 countries. The first day comprises of 2 singles matches and second day comprises of the doubles matches and the third day comprises of 2 reverse singles.
